Out Line Of An Explorer

Be respectful at all meetings and do not talk unless asked, or by raising your hand.

You are representing our post in School or out of School. Be respectful not only to others

but to your family and elders. This is a must...  Help each other when someone needs help.

An Explorer’s duty is as follows on a Fire Scene-

Safety, Safety, Safety is your #1 Priority

 Air Packs- Must know how to fill an air bottle, at a fire this is a Must

Hose Rolling

Bottle Change

Rehab

Explorers are able to ride the following Apparatus Rescue 1-6-1 Mobile Air Unit 1-7-1 Tanker 1-5-1,

Both Engines 1-4-2 and 1-4-1 you will need the Drivers or Chiefs permission 

Assisting the Firefighters in changing or filling an air bottle, in the safe zone only

Clean and help get equipment back in order

Other items only as Chief sees fit

     Note at no time will an Fire Explorer be put in or  themselves in any dangerous situation.

 You don’t enter the HOT Zone under no circumstance or do the duties of a firefighter on a fire scene

Explorers will not go to MVA's .

All Drivers will have the Last say in Whether you go or not
